Former Côte d’Ivoire midfielder Yaya Toure has called time on his football career and will focus on becoming a coach, according to his agent, Dimitry Seluk.
The former African footballer of the year has not played since having his contract at Greek side Olympiakos terminated in December 2018.
Toure, 35, had moved to Greece following his release by Manchester City last summer.
He won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups.
“Yaya has decided to end his career as a champion,” Seluk said.
