SexForGrades : ‘Shocking’ Fact Emerge About Undercover Journalist Kiki Mordi

I’m a University drop-out. I hope to go back to school though because I genuinely enjoy learning. I just hope to do it in a saner, safer environment

The woman behind the sex-for-grade story, Nkiru Mordi, alias Kiki Mordi, did not complete her university education, the media personality has confirmed.

Report says that Mordi, who said she knew first-hand how devastating sexual harassment could be, led undercover journalists posing as students inside the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and the University of Ghana – after gathering dozens of testimony.

Their investigation revealed what happens behind closed doors at some of West Africa’s most prestigious universities.

Mordi and her colleagues’ work which was posted on Monday, October 7, on BBC News Africa’s YouTube sent social media ablaze.

Reacting to a Twitter user’s astonishment at her not completing university, the BBC Africa Eye reporter writes: “Nope I never did. I’m a University drop-out. I hope to go back to school though because I genuinely enjoy learning. I just hope to do it in a saner, safer environment. #SexForGrades”

Mordi mentioned in the documentary that she gained admission into one of the best schools in Nigeria, just after the death of her father.

According to the WFM 91.7 presenter, she was a medical student while growing up.

Meanwhile, after the one-hour-long video was published on Monday, Mordi expressed her gratitude to her team.
