A vulture in Lebanon was caught with a ring saying that it was being monitored in Israel and the locals were convinced that it was an Israeli attempt to spy upon their country.
Residents of a village in Southern Lebanon caught a vulture this morning with a ring saying that it was being monitored in Israel on its leg. The residents claimed that the bird is an Israeli spy. This is not the first time that Israel was accused of using birds and other animals to spy on other countries.
In March 2015, the Palestinian Al Majid website claimed that they captured dragonflies that Israel was utilizing to spy on them. In December 2010, Saudi Arabia reported that they captured a vulture that was sent to spy on them for the benefit of Israel.
