President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate has won 14 local governments out of the 18 local governments in Ogun.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who declared the result said the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar won the remaining four local governments.
The Ogun State Collation Officer, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Prof. Joseph Afuwape, declared the results at Presidential Election Collation Centre at the Independent National Electoral Commission headquarters, Magbon, Abeokuta.
According to the results, Buhari polled the highest number of votes in Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, Ijebu-North-East, Egbado-South, Odeda, Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta-North, Ikenne, Abeokuta South, Ado-Odo/Ota, Ewekoro and Ifo local governments.
Atiku won in Remo-North, Ogun Waterside, Ijebu-North and Imeko-Afon local governments.
As at the time of filling this report, the results of the remaining four local governments were still being collated.
