The Cable is reporting that a former governor of Kano state, Air Vice Marshal Hamza Abdullahi (rtd), has died in far away Germany.
The retired AVM served as military governor of Kano state from 1984 to 1985, while President Muhammadu Buhari was military head of state. He was said to have died in Germany on Wednesday, January 2, at the age of 73.
The Hadejia Emirate of Jigawa, his home state, who also confirmed the news of his exit, said it is saddened by his exit, The Cable reports. The emirate prayed that Almighty Allah forgive him, grant him maghfira, illuminated his grave, and enter him in to janna.

[the_ad id=”42905″] Abdullahi was born in Hadejia, Jigawa state and attended the Nigeria Air Force Tactical Training Wing, Kaduna in 1964.
He was promoted air vice-marshal in October 1988 and retired from the Nigerian Air Force two months later.
